Landplan was initially engaged to design drainage facilities to satisfy the increased demand requirements of the development of Lot 169. Our services extended to provide assistance in relation to service clash with existing electrical facilities.
The scope of works for the above development included the installation of approximately 65m of reticulation watermain.
The client of the above development had key requirements that had to be satisfied including road opening restrictions, combined trenching of all services and co-ordination of sub-contractors. Landplan played a vital role in ensuring works were managed and completed to the client's satisfaction.
304 Gordon Street, Maribyrnong
Sometimes the smaller projects pose the biggest challenges. This is true with 304 Gordon Street. Whilst the scope of works was a mere installation of 15 metres of sewer mains, permission for access, build over requirements added to the complexity of the service delivery. The solution involved the adoption of tunneling using a specialist contractor. The outcome in relation to cost, quality and time satisfied the requirements of all stakeholders.
Lot 125 Dohertys Road, Laverton
To provide sewerage facilities to this property required the installation of sewerage facilities via a specialised laser rock bore process. Traffic Management as well as underground and overhead services were critical items that were required to be addressed to ensure the works were commenced and completed within the critical timeframe of the owner and the land occupant.
An option to service developments located withing flat topography, is to develop a low pressure sewerage system in lieu of the traditional gravity approach. In this instance, each property is serviced by a grinder pump which blends the sewage into a paste which is then pumped via a small diameter rising main to the intended outlet.
